Some few weeks ago there was a thread where "we" could list what we wanted for Christmas...

Somewhat tongue-in-cheek I stated that my wish was to "not have to listen to the 'Twelve Days of Christmas' in any of the (insert some large number) number of variants..."

Well, I got my wish! Even though my habit is to have the TV on in the background all day long, not once was that bloody song played! Not. Once.

Gosh, maybe I should have wished for something a bit more important, like say, "Peace on Earth!" :ernae:

Glad you got your wish Bill.

I avoided it by not having a working TV (well the TV works but we don't have satellite or cable anymore and the rabbit ears just pick up snow).

I wish the same thing every year, and so far I have not heard it this season, but it is not fully over until Dec 31 so I am not out of the woods yet.

BTW with the last name of Partridge, that STUPID song brings out a special hatred in ole Gig, I hate it almost as much as I hate winter and I REALLY hate winter...

A friend sent me a link to that last week, but I just now got around to viewing it. I've only one word for it:
