I have the GF1 and use the 20 mm on it quite a bit. Not sure that I would go out and buy hte 25mm, but it might be a good lens if it comes on the camera. The GF1 isn't a great low lght camera like the Canon 7D or 5DMKII so ther might be some use going from 1.7 to 1.4.

Hope the GF2 is better at higher ISO.

Fliger,
GF2 has the same sensor as the GF1 so no improvement in low light performance....
The GH2 is much improved in low-light performance....Read this review...

Hey All,

Yeah the GF2 is simply a "dumbed down" GF1 rushed to market to compete with the NEX3 and EPL-1. It is not an upgrade from the GF1. Panasonic has (or will) announced a new camera for this year and it will - for certain I think - the GF3. A truly upgraded GF1. I don't know what it will offer but I'm sure it will be step up. What I wanted to comment on is the lens you have - the 20mm is absolutely STELLAR - a truly great lens. If you think it's Krapp send it to me! :jump:

A gimmick camera that poses as a DSLR. I like the looks of them, but man, I gotta have some bulk in these ape palms of mine, those little cameras get covered up and lost.

Hey All,

John the Wiki site describes them pretty well.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Micro_Four_Thirds_system

Basically it's a camera/sensor/lens system developed by Panasonic and Olympus that includes very capable cameras that trade some camera features (no mirror but an electronic viewfinder instead) image characteristics (no extreme shallow DOF for example) and some quality (detail since it is a smaller sensor) for smaller size and weight cameras and lenses. Having a D7000 you have already traded away some of the advantages of a full frame (35mm) sensor camera - the micro four thirds system just takes it a bit further.
