Jan,

A very strong recommendation for both the Mooney M20J and Bonanza. So get your V-tail!

(Note that all their FSX aircraft are built to a high standard. So your choice might be guided by the particular type of General Aviation aircraft that you want to fly.)

Their V35 is my most-flown since I bought it. It's a little bit of a trim challenge, but it's a rocket. I'd buy it again for sure.

What was the original price of the Bonanza V-tail? It does not appear to be on sale?

If you click on each aircraft it will take you to the discription page and it will show you the original price which is lined out and then the sale price.

Would you be kind enough to post the link to what you are describing...I'm just not seeing it. It appears as though not all aircraft are on sale.

Thanks.

Yes, it seems as if their newest releases are excluded from the sale.

Greetings

Thanks Tim,
For a second, I thought I was hallucinating.

It figures the best of the bunch wouldn't be on sale, drat!

Shame it's not on sale, but still highly recommended! (I have ulterior motives in knowing there would be some beautiful Jankees paints on the way for this fab plane! :icon_lol:)

Yep too bad. . .even though $24.95 is a very reasonable price, every little bit helps right now and I doubt it would have hurt them to make the discount "across the board". Obviously, based on the few comments here related to the V35, it probably would have gotten them added sales they won't get now.:salute:

The following link takes you to the page for FSX aircraft and their current prices. The Mooney is on sale and I've had my eye on the C-182 and Saratoga so I may have to pick one of those up as they're on sale as well. Just select a plane and go it's page to see the original price, if it's on sale.

well I have been lusting after that Seneca for quite a while....and now she'sa mine

I don't know how they do it but I get the same hit on frame rates in the Carenado planes as I get with the default Cub - which is to say no hit at all....full on smooth flying.

I picked up the Saratoga. I've been eyeing it for a while, but I love it. I like the club seating in back. It's like it has the amenities of a small personal jet or twin in a single engine airframe. Plus, I remember the 1970's paint scheme from seeing them at a local airport a friend and I used to walk to when we were teenagers. :)

The T34 Mentor for under $10 US has got to be the best deal of the bunch. It's one of my absolute favorites: Great visibility, great flying characteristics and performance, and very intuitive VC.
Also, I've mentioned before that the Archer II is the plane in my stable that I fly the most. Flight characteristics are very close to the Warrior that I have taken lessons in (although it climbs a lot more enthusiastically).
The 185 is a blast to fly out of short strips, but visibility is poor with the high panel.

That's my six cents worth of reviews. Now I think I'll go buy another Carenado.

Like Heywoood said, there is no impact on frames at all. The textures are just great. I got the V-35 Beech, it handles as smooth as silk and the sound file follows the throttle very well.......
