Is it possible for the FDGv2 P-47 Malcolm Hood to be used in CFS2?

Boeing,

Anything is possible, but I wouldn't bother because it's not multi-lod, therefore its combat usage would be extremely limited.

Rami, What does Multi-lod mean?

Boeing,

Having aircraft, ships, and objects that are multi-lod is essential to CFS2 performance, especially with frame rates. What multi-lod means is that the model files are set up set up in a manner that provides more detail when you are in close, and less detail when you are further away. Most CFS2 aircraft will have three models as a minimum, and you typically only see the highest detail when you are examining your own aircraft externally, or when you get close enough that you can "see the whites of the enemy's eyes."

If a model is not multi-lod, this means that there is only one level of detail that the model can be shown in, it is essentially being drawn in "balls to the wall" detail whenever it is called upon, no matter how close or far away it is. When you're dealing with one-on-one combat, it's not a problem so much, but when you're dealing with a flight of eight, a formation of sixteen or even larger, this will have a dramatic negative effect, no matter how fast or slow your computer system or graphics card might be.

This is the reason why I don't bother with any FS9 conversions unless they're multi-lod.

Just an FYI if you don't have it, KM did a good Malcolm Hood P-47 in one of his P-47 packs.
