I have had the honour of testing two new ships by Colin,

Old Maru - 8,000 Tons Surplus British County Class Steam Powered Combination Passenger Freight Liners, from the Far East (Pligrim traffic), South American trade routes, some served the African routes, one of which was the ZamZam which had a famous encounter in WWII. This is a fictional generic example of this type being used for the British Pacific Fleet Campaign. Estimated Speed 15 knots new, 12 Knots at time of modeling. Estimated range 3500 nautical miles on full bunkers, light armament 20 mm, 3" on the sterm for anti sub. In Peacetime paint.

Trooper 45 Imperial Japanese Army (IJA) - 8,000 tons, Similar to the old Maru and modified. Diesel, boilers truncated into one funnel. 15-18 Knots speed, 4,000 miles range. Troop transport, deck cargo capacity, modern cranes..deck cargo of A type Daihatzu Japanese Landing Craft. Armed with 23 mm x 4, 1 x 3" Dual Purpose Gun. In Wartime paint. Two models one normal and one anchored, with several LC alongside.

25025

Daihatzu Japanese Landing Craft will be issued as separate models one with top awning, one without, and one with landing ramp down.

All these have fully DPs, and will be ready for sea when issued.

Both ships work great and are a joy to work with, more masterpieces from Colin's Shipyard.

Sully,

You're approaching that status yourself, good buddy. It's good to see you're still alive and kicking, been worried about you.

Best wishes,
