Installed SuperbugX, FSUIPC 4.60, and FS Force (demo). Problem is, everytime I start FS Force it says "Unable to Locate a Force Feedback Joystick" and follows with "DirectX initialization failed".

I do have a Force Feedback joystick, it's a Logitech Force 3D Pro. Interestingly, when I go to my FSX Controls menu, it shows nothing about Force Feedback at all. There is no tab for forces. Yet the stick has worked and performed with centering forces since the day I bought it, and still does.

Anyone have any ideas? Really want to fly the Superbug! Whats the stinkin problem?

I´ve lost FF on my Logitech steering wheel several times. Running the 'Clear Calibration Utility' application available from here (http://www.wingmanteam.com/latest_software/gadgets.htm) has been helpful.

This is not free?
Please help me!

Zsolt,

You don't need the registered version of FSUIPC to use the SuperBug.

The latest full version of FSUIPC4 is available from Enrico Schiratti's site here: http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html

The latest updates to that are available from Pete Dowson's support forum here: http://forum.simflight.com/topic/66139-updated-modules-11th-december-2010/

The registered version of FSUIPC adds a lot of features and control over the back end of FSX, but to use it as an interface between an aircraft such as the SuperBug and the sim does not require a license to be purchased.
