NASCAR does spend tons on promotions and publicity. It's not just racing, it is a show and it is entertaining.

And aimed at the low end of the food chain!
Seriously, I found myself at the final round of the 'V8 Supercars' last weekend and wanted to grab the promoter by the ears and panel beat a few cars with his face!!
Side-show Alley at the Ag Show had nothing on the amount of junk merchandise, bimbos in mini outfits, dog and pony shows, all with nothing connected to motor racing.
I suppose the 'XXXX Hookers' are associated via the sponsor but I want to see the racing, not a group of dumb blondes (trust me, they are!) 'dancing' badly on the back of a flat bed truck!!
The 'Racing' is supposed to be the entertainment, not a support act.

Been a long weekend and I always come away from Sydney feeling pissed.
Must be time for my medication!!
