Does anyone know if there is a decent F-4 Phantom II available for FSX?

I have the Alphasim ones for FS9, but these have the 'usual' problems in FSX.

Thanks

Paul

Good question.. Because if anyone wanted to work on one now that would be great!!.. as I will be releasing (TOP GUN FSX) in a month or 2 or so.. Mine for RDJ sim will be the usual basic F4 phantoms and F14 tomcats DX10 ready but with full info on how users can change out or replace with their own favorite planes to use in the missions that will cover top gun history from vietnam to the 80's ..you know ..that danger zone sawng era.. the most love to hate era..but it and top gun school will be in it too..ha ha

That look exactly like what I wanted. Does anyone know when it might be released?

There is no ETA on the F-4 Phantom. Right now they have a Spitfire that they are releasing with Accu-sim, and then a F-104. After that should be the P-51D, and the F-4 Phantom is undetermined. All of the above mentioned birds have been shown in game except the F-4 which is why I think it is still a ways off. That bird WILL be well worth the wait though.

Not only "build" one, they will also "Accusim" it. That has been the best news for me this year. I am waiting for it and will buy it as soon as it gets available.
Important information is that prior to releasing the Phantom, they will release an Accusim F-104, which was for me the second best news of the year :jump:

The A2A looks awesome so far, but i hope they get one thing programmed into its dynamics that will make it a sure deal for me.. The f-4 had a nasty tendency to rotate out of plane on takeoff and could flip over on its back if it wasn't handled just right.. That behavior actually saved the life of one guy when he was going up against a mig, and used that back flip to rotate over so he could get a shot off at the mig that was on his tail.. No ones ever done that in a released plane to date, and its been a real disappointment for me..

The Milviz T-38 does exactly that....so it has been done...but it's not yet been released ;)
According to my data the A-7 is one of the worst planes concerning departure as she develops an extremly high roll (almost 200deg/sec) and yaw rate above 25deg AoA.....

There's also a planned development of the UK Phantom variants for FSX. Same guy(s) who are working on the FSX Sukhoi Su-27.

That is Mark Harpers' ALS-SIM.com project, he once did the great F-4 series for Alphasim.

That is right, the company is in deep sleep at the moment.
