As a result of breaking my Aprilia not long ago I discovered that most (if not all!) high performance bikes are written off as a matter of course by the Australian insurance companies.
After a round table with my two 'old motorsport farts' and partners in crime we decided to buy up some of these and see if we could make a return on some of these supposed 'write offs'.
This MV is not that bad at first glance, but the hole in the fairing shows the hole in the cases which are full of metal, gravel, stones and assorted road kill.
But (and there's always one!) she is 'fixable' and will command a high resale price, we have sourced parts and enlisted the help of an HRT machinist to turn up a few odds and ends.
So far so good!
Of course, the only problem we face is deciding if we want to sell the rebuilds or keep them .....:173go1:

This Ducati looks much worse than it really is.
The major expense in this case is the C/F fairing, we have a frame in stock that was going for a reasonable price and worth putting into spares 'just in case'.
