Taco, you think maybe that BUMPY rwy there caused a damage crash? My wings were flexing (ext view) pretty bad on rollout.

Edit2: There are some errors in the duenna an expert wiil have to look at.

Dangerousdave26
November 29th, 2008, 09:12
Taco

Your Duenna shows 75.1 seconds of Overspeed and it looks like

Info: REALISM/StressDamage: 'False' (NOT GOOD)

Is set wrong. Should be why you completed the leg but only Duenna showed a crash.

EasyEd
November 29th, 2008, 09:41
Hey All,

A follow-up to what Dave said. Don't know about FSX but in FS9 you can overspeed up to 59 seconds when you hit 60 secs it's a crash. So 75 is likely too many.

Dang good idea to install an autopilot for those dark stormy nights! I once did a similar thing, in the Corsair, over Africa at night, had a rudder hard over and lost about 15,000 ft trying to recover from the spin but finally did and had to limp in holding full opposite rudder on the pedals! Turned out to be a trim runaway, have no idea why it happened! Whew!

Look at Auto Throttle settings in the aircraft.cfg most are set to max rpm 90 which I believe is 90 percent of N2 which is why they can not hold full throttle.

Have your machanic install the 97 or 100 percent N2 upgrade.

Look at Auto Throttle settings in the aircraft.cfg most are set to max rpm 90 which I believe is 90 percent of N2 which is why they can not hold full throttle.

Have your machanic install the 97 or 100 percent N2 upgrade.

Will check into the otto upgrade. Thanks, Dave!

I noticed when aloft in the flight that I was not getting winds? Surprised that the Duenna did not flag this. The weather will give the "not good" as I use one shot, sometimes the dialup can take 5 min or more to load wx while enroute, so a pause or two or three, that long in the flight can be fatal!

Concorde lands easily enough, just need to perfect the re-entry profile if it's use in a race comes by. Will take a look at the "veggie".

NOW>>>> the Supersonic leg.. 2:03:37..
- ONE supersonic leg (a/c with Max mach 2.3 or less) - max time 2 hours- no distance limit - supersonic flight must be entirely over water.
shame, shame... does the GamesMeister rule the leg invalid? or does he apply just the triple-time penalty... mas cervezas por favor!

Since this is just practice, I'll let it stand although it's likely that since it was a clear breach of the rule and was not mentioned it should be reflown. However, 0:3:37 x 3 = 10:41 penalty added to time. Call me any name you want...:friday:
