Very nice Tim. :)

It looks rather similar to something else... An Ercoupe maybe?

A close resemblance to a North American Navion. It shold be pretty in USAF colors like Dick Jackson's

Nice Tim! How about a Meyers 145 too! Always thought that with a belly scoop added it would look like a poor mans P51:costumes:

When I was a kid, back in the 50's, I remember the ads in "Flying" magazine, comparing the 200 to its competitors, the Beech Bonanza, Piper Comanche, Cessna 210 and Mooney Mark 20. I always thought the 200 looked "better", and dreamed of owning one. Now, thanks to Tim, that dream will come true...:applause:

I have a couple dozen hours in a Swift, I couldn't agree more. Maybe it's on Tim's list... :ernae::ernae:

My respect for your work, Piglet:medals:
Thats really a good looking bird!:jump: Actually never heard of it before:redf:.
But I'm prepared for it - just got the sound files for a V35 Bonanza from a friend.
So the Conty IO520 is already in my hangar - plane still missing:d

It also has options for some glass gauges! :wiggle:

Looking very much forward flying it, Tim!

- Edit: Its bigger brother is an awesome thing as well. http://www.meyersaircraft.com/400%20Section/I400%20Standard%20Features.html

Looking very nice! Well done Tim (as always!) :applause:
A selfish request - I hope it has "normal" gauges (I don't have Acceleration!)

Awesome news Tim. As a young hanger brat this and the Comanche 400 would always come up in talks about fast singles.

That looks awesome, Tim. Amazing how much it resembles the Navion.

Speaking of the Navion, Tim, any chance you'll do an FSX upgrade of your awesome FS2004 L-17 Navion?

The Meyers is an extremely slick airplane, and built like the proverbial "shick brithouse"...:ernae:

It is said that the Meyers 200 has never had an in-flight airframe failure, due to the rugged center section that the airplane is built around...:applause:

In case you're looking for a FSX Navion, you could raid Avsim and look for Rich Schwerdtfeger's (and Bill Leaming's) Navion.
It's not the classic deal, (digitalized flight deck, undivided windshield) but better than nothing.

Thanks, Bjoern. I saw that one, but I really liked Tim's for FS9, with the military paints and classic avionics.

Matter of taste, I guess.

I'm a kid of the computer age, so I prefer those LCDs over needles and stuff. :d
