New Beta driver at Nvidia and uguru3d.

Seems very smooth, better than 180.48. Also new Cuda driver 2.01 at same sites.

Bruce, did ya give these a try? I was reading along with the thread at guru yesterday, but everyone there is only worried about bench marks.:d I'm more into IQ and game play, 180.48's run pretty good on my system but the IQ isn't that good. Think i'll go d/l them and give em a whirl.:kilroy:

Joe, those guys are more into speed and FPS. They are also into IQ too. Best thing you can do is try the driver. If you read there thread on some systems they work great, others are a flop. kinda like trial and error...Mike

Hi Butcherbird 17,

I am using this driver with Vista 64 and it works great, no probs at all.

I'm using these drivers, and I do see and improvement in IQ, and 'slight' decrease in frame rate.

I ran AM3 bench with 180.48 and my score was 164648

With 180.60 the score is 164326

What impressed me is I got the same score in two out of three runs with AM3 for 180.60. With other drivers the first run is the highest, but then just gets lower from there for what ever reason. So with 180.60 there is more consistency, and for me the IQ was better.

Oh incase if your wondering, those scores translate in to 164.648FPS and 164.326FPS respectively. Like I said, a 'slight' decrease in performance.:d
