I recently downloaded the excellent A-29b Super Tucano by Tim Conrad. His modelling is really beautiful.

So, I decided to do a few repaints. I have done 90% of the first one, but am still playing around with a few things. I chose the one leased to the US Navy as part of the Imminent Fury programme. Here are a few WIP shots.

I can't say I like this one, just my own opinion, your work looks excellent though and I hope you do some RAF ones for your fellow Brits too! Chances are we'll be using these in Afghanistan soon!

Thanks chaps for your kind words:)

Peter - I chose this one because it is 'real' and would have been interesting had the USN obtained further funding for the programme.

I will do a few more repaints (when I finish this one). Probably all fictional. Maybe a couple of USN ones (high viz and low viz) assuming that it had entered service and then a couple of RAF ones. With the RAF ones I cant make my mind up whether to be fictional eg a grey 'theatre' one or to apply more 'genuine' schemes given that the RAF uses the Tucano, if not the Super Tucano.

Cheers

I love the fictional paints. Here is one by SOH's own Tako kichi.

Wow, thanks chaps!

Hi Tim - Glad that you like it. I am really grateful to you for all of your fantastic original work. Without your skills and generosity I wouldn't be able to have fun doing a few repaints. Thank you Sir!

Cheers
