I can't stand any type of "Peep" marshmallow candies, etc. Blech!

But I love Candy Corn :)

Candy corn. Ate too much of it one Halloween when I was a kid, got sick as a dog and never ate it again. I'd even confiscate it from my sons' trick-or-treat bags. Still don't eat it and I don't hand it out to the kids.

Any candy that has orange as one it's colors.

I like candy, but off the top of my head I can't think of a single candy that actually tastes good that has any shade of orange as one it's colors. :)

...I'm not sure if they make them anymore (and for good reason)....but those molasses/taffy type candies that'd have a tiny smear of peanut butter way inside. They were either wrapped in orange or black paper. *One or two bites and that was enough. No doubt about it,....candy corn is another real yuk-stinker of a candy.

The popcorn ball making brought back memories. Hubby and I did that one year...I burned my hands while trying to form the ball! Them things were hot!!

Had to send two bags of candy corn to Afghanistan recently at my daughter's request. :icon_eek:

I agree that those "things" in the white and black wrappers always end up in the bottom of the candy bowl and then to the garbage can. No on here eats them.

Those are rare to come by up here and also the most expensive. With winter setting in they'll get very pricey as supply dwindles.

Candy corn...love it...have two bags on the kitchen counter and a glass pumpkin candy dish filled to the brim with the stuff. Peanut M&Ms....I also like separating them into colors and eating them one color at a time....I save the red ones for last...they're my faves, even though they all taste the same.

Mary Janes....those taffy things with the peanut butter in the middle...wrapped in orange or black wax paper wrappers. I can easily eat a dozen of those things at a time.

Unfortunately as a Kid there pretty much wasn't a candy I didn't like I think I ate em all ... it didn't matter.

Back in the 50's some people would hand out stuff they made themselves. One of the worst was the little bricks in various colors made out of Rice Crispies. YUK!

diabetes is very prevelant today. I've lived with it for over 55 years now, and do allow myself to hae an occasional snack of M & M's. Usually do it when the blood sugar is lower, or if I'm going to exercise. It's much easier for me to compensate by taking a bit more insulin, but most type 2 diabetics are stuck due to using oral meds. They work on your body to make it work better, where as type 1 diabetics just replace what they don't produce. (the use of insulin by type 2 diabetics is increasing, as it's a great tool for better control...) Sorry for the rant...:redface:

I like Candy Corn, hate peeps (though the wife and daughter love them).

I have a dentist friend that loves Sugar Daddy's, he says he does his best business a couple days after Halloween replacing fillings (usually on parents) that where pulled by them.

But my personal big hate is Butterfingers, never have liked them, even as a kid.

Candy corn is alright. Not my favorite, but like has been said if it is in the dish then candy is candy. I think licorice is the worst thing ever made. Do not know how anyone can like that flavor. To each their own though. As long as I have my Hot Tamales I am set. :jump:
