Anyone collecting stamps?

Someplace around here I have a couple books of stamps that I got at a yard sale. Not sure what's in them though, as I simply stuck them on one of my book selves are forgot about them. May need to dig them out and take a look see...may have some rare stamps in there (not likly that I would know a rare stamp if it bit me in the butt though).

Just pulled them out and opened one of the books. Stamps from the early and mid 1900's. From around the world. Lots and lots of stamps. I think I need to spend some time getting these stamps back in order....some of them have come off the pages and stuck together. May become a new hobby for me.

The thing to do nowadays is not to mount them but to use those albums with gusset pages.
Value is now also dependent on the glue amount on the reverse.

Soak them gently in warm clean water until you can remove the hinge from the back and then lay them face down on a kitchen towel until they dry. You might find that you will need to press them after they have dried as they tend to curl.

Once you have sorted them, give me a shout, you might wanna do some swops.:d
