I think it's loaded by "exe.xml" it's located in the same folder as "fsx.cfg".
Open "exe.xml" and look for an entry for winchx and delete the appropriate entries. If your not sure what to delete copy and paste the content of "dll.xml" here and i'll take a look.:salute:

Look for this file: exe.xml
That is probably in this folder if you have win7:
c:\Users\YourUser\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX

And remove this entry:

<launch.addon>
</launch.addon>
<launch.addon><newconsole>
</newconsole></launch.addon>< Launch.Addon >
< Disabled>False
< ManualLoad>False
< Name>WinchX!
< Path>x:\FSX\Modules\WinchX!\WinchX.exe
< CommandLine>
< NewConsole>True
< /Launch.Addon >

Yup that's it. :jump:

You can also get rid of the files as you don't need them anymore, delete the WinchX! folder located in the "FSX root folder\Modules" folder.

Well ... you have admin rights? The error is like "access denied"?
I don´t have any problem in editing this file here. Try disabling UAC just for the time that you´re editing the file than turn it on after that.

Yeah it's my PC but it doesn't believe that I'm the administrator lol UAC what is that? How do I do that? never had this problem before!

UAC is something like "USER ADMINISTRATION CONTROL" and can be found at the windows control panel -> System and Security -> Alter user admin. control configuration

As i´m using a portuguese windows the translation to english may be a little off the real one ... hope it helps! :salute:
