That was special. I liked the way the defensive players made it look like they were trying to tackle the guy. Both teams made a place for that special player.

For those with Netflix...there is a documentary called Up Syndrome. It is basically a year in the life of a young man with Down Syndrome as taped by a friend of his using a camera he bought with E-Bay sales funds and donated tapes. Very heart touching, very funny at times, very sad at times. Not to blow too much of the show for those inclined to watch it, the part that got my eyes leaking the most was when the film maker, who is "normal" took his friend with Up Syndrome out to a secluded area and allowed him to drive...that act of friendship and grace had me bawling like a baby.

....Very touching. Just a simple 'extended hand' by all the players on the field has impacted on this young man's life.
