It's a miracle this guy survived! This is why you resist the urge to open up the throttle until you're on an empty stretch of straight road, and during daylight!

After seeing South Florida drivers and motorcyclists in action, it's amazing that this doesn't happen more often.

I see maniac motorcyclists all the time on the interstate here in Tidewater. They race down the road so fast you have almost no warning when they overtake you. If you decided to move into a lane they were approaching you in, the same thing would happen as in the story.

TB I notice that more on you side than over here. It's pretty bad when ya coming down 264 at 60 miles an hour and a couple bikes pass ya like you are parked in the middle of the road. There is way to much traffic on 264 and 64 for anyone to be traveling at that speed. After viewing the picture of that crash I don't have any idea how he made it.

Holy crud!!!! That's the luckiest idiot on a bike I've seen. Not only that. did you notice the mangled licence plate on the van? That van was full of some of my fellow Vermonters.

1,300 miles from home, on vacation and then have this happen? WOW.

It's pretty bad when the bike is so twisted you can't even tell what it was!

If the guy survives he needs to have his license revoked permanento. And sent to jail/tried for assault with a deadly weapon and intent. That's rediculious

I gress That some folks should NOT ride Period.. And some should not drive autos either..
But weeding them out this way isn't good..

I am grateful No One was killed including the rider..
But I think perhaps He should consider walking from now on..

I will keep riding when the time comes.. I do Hope I never see anyone do something as stupid as this ever..
