Kinda puts drifting to shame, don't it! :icon_lol: That's nerts, I could swear the right rear was gonna bust the wall at the start. And what is that lever he appears to shift, as one can see the gears are paddle shifters on the steering column? Too bad Ford didn't think to include the paddle shift manual option with their double-clutch 6-speed automatic in the Fiesta for the US, don't know if they offer it or not. I checked out a Fiesta before getting a new Honda Fit/Jazz. Two reasons I chose the Fit, manual shift option and much more room all over on the interior. Plus a dealer that talked my language, Ford seems to think you have to go top dollar for a new Fiesta, no talking them down.

That big lever he pulls on is the parking brake lever....used to lock the rear wheels to put the car into a slide.

I really should have Deb watch that video...maybe she will realize what driving like a maniac really is and will get off my back about the way I drive.

I wonder how many times they changed the tires for this video. To me that would be fun to do. I guess someone else was footing da bill.

You can tell that he had several (perhaps practice) attempts in the first video. The tyre marks on the track are evidence of his earlier attempts.

New season with a totally new car. His Fiesta has about 100 horsepower on his old Subaru. And Ken's a very aggressive driver. By the end of the season he'll most likely have it all dialed in.

Thanks OBIO, the gear shifter in Rally cars is tall and shaped like that, but I knew he wasn't shifting gears with it.

There's only one thing more fun than driving like a maniac and that's flying like a maniac! :icon_lol:

Block needs to give up the stunt driving and concentrate 110% on the WRC if he expects to do any good Brian.
Impressive video fluff just the same, but Madame Wombat drives her M3 like that every day.

That ford is fugly as hell and sounds like a tuned lawnmower. However, perfect car size for those tricks.

I would prefer challenging Porsches with fast "bisquitboxes"
