My last driver is 77.72. When I add the latest I seem to have a problem with FS9. When the "Create a flight" screen comes up the area where the plane normally is is black and the mouse pointer disappears (like on the margins). When in the game the textures seem ok, but the toolbar seems reluctant though it works. Other games work just fine. Only FS9 is odd.

See what happens when you lower your AA ans AF

I rolled back the driver to what had worked and it is still the same. The only way to get anything is to have the game control AA. Now why would that matter when it didn't before? Probably reinstall time (this gets old).

Go into safe mode and use a driver cleaner / reboot and reinstall the drivers again...let me know what happens...Mike

I did that and its the same. Seems to work ok with the game controlling the AA.

The plane choice screen is jagged some, but in the game its ok.

Are you using driver cleaner pro in safe mode...also have you run a check on your hard drive? Something not making sence here...I have installed loads of drivers and removed them too...Mike

Every time drivers are swapped doesent it revert back to default settings. Maybe the issues are with performance settings and v-sync is on by default.

I've had similar issues with all the 7x.xx series and AA, had to let the game control it, until trying the StarStorm 77.76, FS9 will run with the drivers controlling AA again.

I did try the Starstorm first. I had to go back as they caused too many problems. When I went to 77.77 I saw the problems I have now so I went back. The problems stuck, but it ony seems to bother FS9 as far as AA goes.

Another oddity was on the Nvidia settings screen icon on the taskbar. It usually just opened up, but now it makes the screen black out for a couple of seconds while it loads. And there is an analog monitor selection there as well as mine. I did have to work at it to get my monitor's name back rather than the "plug and play" name.

I get the screen black out when I click on the Nvidia tray icon as well. I used to know the fix for it, but I cant recall it now. :redf:
