Well it does have the appeal of being a unique aviation flick...but I can think of better things to do with my time...like watching the grass grow or something. LOL

Yes, it must be rubbish. Itīs been a while since I havenīt bothered to check more specific details about a movie. Observing grass grow sounds fun compared to watching this. =D

This was a joke. :mixedsmi:

16R seems to be worth checking out, though.

SyFy Channel stuff is in a league all it's own. :)

That particular one is on about every 3rd Sat or Sun when they do the sea monters series.

Movie trivia on that clip - The blond pilot is pre-Brittany Spears singing mall queen Debbie Gibson.

This week they are adding a new twist to their shark and tentacle repertoire with "Sharktopus". LOL

Hold on to that thought.....

If you want classic big bomber stuff, Syfy has that also. :salute: LOL

My gods that looks absolutely horrendous. The Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus type of thing can be quite funny as it's always deliberately tongue-in-cheek but that was truly horrible. Who would watch something like that?

I know wiltzei. I showed it to my wife and she loved it. She is a B-movie sci-fi affectionado.

I swear, the Skipper looks and sounds just like Robin Meade from CNN Headline News.

I've been wondering for a while about who is in charge of movie programming at Syfy... one day you can watch Stephen King's The Stand, which I thought was actually pretty good, and the next day it's 'Mega Piranha' or 'Dinocroc vs. Supergator' or this giant octopus movie! Don't get me wrong, I loved most of the Japanese monster movies from the sixties, especially the original Godzilla movie (before Raymond Burr was spliced into it), But there should be much better material somewhere for Syfy to pick from... -Mike Z.

I couldn't agree more!
How bout a weeks worth of 1950's era movies.
"Earth VS the Flying Saucers" type stuff.
That's my kind of Sci-Fi
Love the old stuff.

Hah, the only thing worth remembering from that clip is a couple of lookers in uniforms. And the ladies werenīt bad either. http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/images/573_laugh.gif (http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/view-573_laugh.gif) http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/images/584whistle.gif (http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/view.php?filename=584whistle.gif).

Joking aside, why do planes always have to be at >30 degree AoB turn while exterior shots are taken? http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/images/808blink.gif (http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/view.php?filename=808blink.gif)

And is Scy-Fy channel a PPV- or a Free Air-channel?

FAC257

Sy-fy is just one of the regular channels I get from my cable connection.

Alert! Alert! LOL

It's happening again right on schedule.

Sea Monster Day on SyFy including the mega-hit in the OP.

Today's line-up of genetically enhanced creatures....
19802

Given this weeks line-up, next Saturday should be the premier of "Super Dinocrocarktopus vs Mega Hammerhead Kraken". LOL
