Krazy - this is a 'well known feature' for M$ FS - all gamers on the spot should just press 'slew' twice to get the undercarriage out of the 'mud' - most forget to do that prior to a 'picture session' ;)

I've found that this doesn't always work. I assume you still get the problem of screen resolution and graphic settings variations between the 'pilots'. The best solution appears to be to take your photo's whilst flying.

if it's not working, the most possible reason would be (under the assumption, that everybody has the most recent DirectX installed, with the SAME FS patch level and DX9 compatible graphics hardware and software), that one has an addon mesh installed for the area around the airport, where the 'gang' is located for the 'picture session'. Of course, your reasons are also possible in this 'never ending surprise party' :D
