I have Windows XP 32 bit. I'm currently using, and happy with Avast and Super Anti-Spyware. I gave up AVG six months ago when they made changes to accommodate Win 7. I've been reading good things about MS Essentials and was wondering, with what I'm using now, if it would be compatible as well as a good addition for added security.

Thanks in advance,

Bob

I have been using it on a laptop the last four months or so running Windows XP 32 bit without any problems so far . It has an automatic update feature you can set or manually run the update anytime you want to like most of them do . I know quite a few people here at SOH are using it and seem to give it good marks . You sure can't beat the price -----free

Rich (Sorry--I don't full fill the category of guru , I'm actually somewhat of a dumb a-- , well , I won't get in to that . I'm sure there are people here that have used it a lot longer than I have . Maybe they will jump in here and give their two cents worth .)

No problems with it here on an XP Pro 32 system either.
