To all,

Over the coming weeks and months, I will be doing some maintenance to the Warbirds Library. My main target is to eliminate "fixes," so that the installation process is smoother and easier.

As an example...in the CFS2 Scenery section, I have taken the two scenery packages that Gius did (Madrid and Leurwwarden) and updated the files so that the fixes (missing textures, scenery .bgl files, layouts, and GSL files) are included in the original package.

This will only apply to those who have uploaded a "fix" for a file they previously uploaded into the new library.

This will apply to all sections (FSX, FS9, CFS3, CFS2)

Also,

You can search the "new" library to find all the entries by a single user!!

The way to do this is to find a download...any one...

And click on the "eyeglass" next to the user name. It should bring you to a screen like this...

The only trouble is...I'm not sure if this is a staff function or not. Would someone please do me the courtesy of checking?

Thanks,

ndicki

Hi Rami - No, it works for everyone. Been using it for some time.

Good news about the fixes!

The good news is that it's not a staff function. The bad news is that it's a partly broken function, it works perfectly as long as there is only one page of uploads by the user in question but as soon as you click the page number link (say, 2) at the bottom of the page it disposes of the user ID in the following way:

http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links_search.php?action=show&userid=2376&sort=d

turns into

http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links_search.php?action=show&sort=d&page=2

so the &userid=2376 part disappears. Which effectively means that it works only half as well as it could.

(those are my own uploads if anybody wonders and no, there aren't two pages of them but it affects every uploader)
