This Suzuki Fronte with it's 475 cc three cylinder two-stroke engine is a recreation of the car Sir Stirling Moss drove in the Napels-Rome-Milan tour. Although this car only has a topspeed of 133 kph, Moss averaged 122 kph!:

An Aussie oddity, this Buckle GT Coupe from 1955:

This monstrosity is called the ' Bucciali' and was hand-made between 1982 and 1985:

Some new cars on display too, maybe the classic cars of the future?

Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione Spider:

Maserati Shooting Break conversion by Bellagio:

Ferrari 458 Italia, not a bad looking car in the flesh (Let's hope Ferrari can solve the spotaneous combustion problems though!):

Radical SR3 racing:

Mercedes SLS AMG; nice colour but slightly odd proportions. The nose seems too long compared to the cabin IMHO:

The new Jaguar XJ; looks a lot better than it does on photos. The front is impressive, not sure about the back though:

The Lexus LFA, a rare sight, as exactly none of the 500 examples have been sold here:

Not even on the concours terrain; this TVR was parked next to my car when I went home!:

The first Bucciali to appear at the Paris Automobile Show was equipped with a fake engine, constructed primarily from wood!!
I can't recall this white one, but I fell in lust with a black Buc, even if it is rather over the top.

The Buckle was a limited production/kit car, powered by the much loved GMH 6 cylinder 'Grey Engine', when fitted with a Repco 'Hi-Power Head' and suitably tuned they were quick little cars, if a tad basic.
I remember one powered by a 'Waggott' DOHC Grey conversion which regularly blew off Jaguars!!

The Buckle is a really good looking car, a bit like the original AC Ace (That later became the Cobra); very smooth styling with absolutely no unnecessary parts like door handles or bumpers etc.

This 'Bucciali' was inspired by a drawing of a Bucciali TAV.2 with a body by Saoutchik, but made between 1980 and 1985. It has power steering, disc brakes, is no less than 5.80 meters long with a wheelbase of 3.75 meters. The rims are 24 inch! The engine is a 5.6 liter straight eight with 169 hp.
