Thinking of selling these if someone's interested.

Haven't scrounged around for cords or anything, but we'll see what I can find if someone's interested.

New chip is going for about $150 and the board around the same. So, new you'd be looking at $300.

How we feel about $175?

Both function perfectly, I just don't need 'em anymore.

EDIT: Depending upon my cash situation, I might throw in 2GB PC3200 RAM and an ATi x1900XT 512MB PCI-E card and a case for an additional fee.

The case goes for $109 on Newegg new. This one is dented at the top and has some gunk on the front... I figure I'd sell that for $50. The ATi card is working perfectly fine. Goes for $269.99 new on Newegg. Would be willing to part with it for about $180. The RAM goes for $134.99 new on Newegg. Figure I could get about $80 for it since it's used...

So...

Case, Motherboard, RAM, graphics card, and chip for... $485 + S&H?

With the above sale, I could just about get an 8800GTX to replace the x1900 I'm selling above.

Good price Cyber, count on spending a little for for a good $700 watt power supply for that GTX. I'll see if I can help ya find a buyer:ernae:

Ted, this is the ensemble I'm looking into getting...

Right now, I have enough for the motherboard, RAM, PSU and case.

Motherboard - http://www.newegg.com/product/Product.asp?item=N82E16813131074

RAM - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16820231114 - where else can you find DDR2 800 with stock 4-4-3-5 timings for that awesome a price!

PSU - http://www.newegg.com/product/Product.asp?item=N82E16817159058

Case - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133143 - has a removable motherboard tray, VERY nice

I'm also contemplating getting this... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835186134

Unless you have some suggestions or better prices. :d

EDIT: Since I'd be buying a PSU, I'd sell the case with the 650 it has for an extra $35 - it originally cost me $85.

Awesome

Dangit, Cybr! I finally start to build a great system and you go and do that on me. Way to kill my ego! :censored:

:costumes:

Wow, going Nvidia?

Sounds like a good price for that stuff to me.

Awesome

Cyber, I didn't see anything wrong with your pic, that motherboard is great but it also very hard to set up, it is an overclocker's motherboard which you have not done much of, however I think you're on to one fast system. Ya know though you can buy some very fast 1066 fsb memory at great prices too now and Corsair Dominator is hot stuff.

I bet if you look real hard you can find an uglier case. ;) (Just kidding around a little. I know....... Beauty is in the eyes of the beerholder.)

I'd buy this PSU instead of the one you're thinking of. http://www.pcpower.com/products/viewproduct.php?show=S61EPS&view=techspecs

Don't know what to say about that motherboard except that it is expensive and I'd like to try it.

Check out this memory before you buy. $99 (after rebate) for 2GB of Crucial Ballistix PC2-6400 is a very good price. http://www.buy.com/prod/crucial-2gb-ddr2-sdram-memory-module-2gb-800mhz-ddr2-800-pc2-6400-non/q/loc/101/202541818.html?adid=17662&adid=17662

Considering the motherboard you're buying, I think you should buy some of this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148070

For CPU cooler I'd either wait a few more days and order a Thermalright IFX-14 (I'm buying one as soon as they are available) or buy a Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme or a Zalman 9700 or a Tuniq Tower 120.

Good news! Just won the case on eBay for $122.51 including shipping. Saved about $40. w00t

WOW - that is some pricey RAM! Woof... I dunno if I can swing that kind of $$$.

With the Mobo - I know you said this E6600 is really good to OC. I've been doing a little reading up, just to see what's going on. What I really like about that Striker Extreme is the on board Power/Reset/CMOS Reset buttons. My DFI board has those and they were a blessing when it came to componant installation. It would be just as handy when overclocking - especially since the case I just won has a removable motherboard tray (YAY!).

Back to the case - What can I say? Black and blue, doesn't look like a cheap POS and it's got lots of curves and sexy lines - I dig it! Like an Aston Martin. :d

Why do you like that PSU more than the 700wt I have selected?

That CPU cooler is just plain INSANE. Wow.

Dunno if the case I'm getting is big enough for that. :d

New price for the system folks - found out on Newegg the chip is actually going for $225.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103544

As such, the whole ensemble - Chip, Case, Mobo, RAM, Power Supply, Graphics Card - is now $510. Plus shipping and handling.

Well, I purchased the mobo, RAM and PSU yesterday.

Got the G.SKILL 4-4-3-5 RAM, the Coolmax 700w PSU and the Asus Striker Extreme

After payday, I think I'm going to look into a cooler for the CPU.

Change in price again - the case isn't in as good of shape as I thought, so I'm just going to include it for free. It has missing parts, etc.

So, new price is now $460 + S&H

Just realized I have an extra powersupply since I bought a new one to go with my new stuff.

It's a 650 watt PSU. Even has the 6-pin for the newer cards.

I'll include it for another $50 as it cost me $80 when I bought it new.

If nobody is interested in any of the items I'm selling, I'm going to put them up on eBay.

Just to update the list and keep it current (list subject to change and updates)...

DFI LanParty UT CFX3200-DR Socket 939 Motherboard - $100
AMD Socket 939 64-bit X2 4800+ Dual Core chip - $150
AMD Socket 939 64-bit 3500+ single core chip - $30
2GB A-Data PC3200 DDR 400 RAM (2x1GB sticks) - $80
Okia 650WT ATX Power Supply - $50
ATi x1900XT 512mb PCI-E Graphics Card - $200

It's important to note that the graphics card will be the last thing sold as I don't have a backup - I won't sell it until I have enough to purchase another card.

If anyone is interested, lemme know. :)

Hey Cyber, this is not something you have to feel compelled to do, but would you consider trading your ATI 1900XT for a new ATI 1650 PRO, 512 MB 256bit, have the box, manuals and CD plus $80.00. I paid $129.00 before Christmas and it is in pristine condition? I don't believe it would really affect the sales price of your unit, and extra $80.00 should make up the difference. 3DMark05 on it 5155. My wife's card went pop, but it was getting old anyway and I would like to give her one for her birthday along with a ForceFeedBack joystick, I just don't have the money to buy both new. Not a big deal if you are skiddish about it.

My only concern with the x1650 is does it have enough power?

I have a 24" Dell LCD with native res at 1920x1200x32

I was hoping to sell the card last so I had the cash to upgrade with the final sale of the card.

When is her Birthday? We might be able to work something out.

Hey Cyber it doesn't have that kind of muscle, now if you sold it someone who only needed 1400x900 or 1400 x 1024 then no problem, but if you are selling your monitor with your system it won't work in its native resolution so it's OK, thank you anyway buddy. She can live with a new joystick, dinner and a movie, she isn't hard to please...thank GOD for small miracles:costumes:

Just thought of this - folks, you could buy an entire system here! Almost.

You can buy the case, motherboard, RAM, CPU with heatsink (I'll even apply Arctic Silver 5 for ya) power supply, soundcard (SoundBlaster Audigy 2) and DVD reader (NOT burner) off me for $500 + S&H (but PayPal fees included in the $500) and then get a brand new graphics card off txnetcop to throw in.

All you need is a hard drive and an optional 3.5" floppy and you've got an entire system ready to go. Plus mouse, keyboard and monitor.

EDIT: Actually, for another $10, I'll throw in my Microsoft wireless mouse and keyboard.
