FSX & CH Yoke Gear Toggle Fix

Not sure if this has been posted before-

It had bugged me that you could not assign the gear toggle (both up & down) command to a CH yoke button. I found a post over at AVSIM that fixed it right up with a little XML editing. Back up the original just in case.

C:\Documents and Settings\yournamehere\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX\Controls\Standard.XML

interesting .. I have a CH Yoke and don't have that problem. I wonder if it is with only certain kinds of CH Yokes.

Thank you, Moses. I have a CH yoke and never understood why FSX changed the gear toggle to a one-way only.

Nope I had that problem as well. I never really got around to looking into fixing it as I mostly fly fixed gear. :d
