Build an Intel and load Snow Leopard on it for MAC and dual boot for Win7 to run FSX! $750
I just did this for a friend:
Using a Gigabyte EP45-UD3P motherboard, 4GB G.Skill PC2 9600 stable at 1290 mhz, a Q9650 CPU stable at 4.0 on air, combined with an MSI N260GTX OC 655mhz. It runs FSX at no less than 22fps anywhere and as high 80fps in places UNLOCKED! All sliders right except autogen at Normal! Awesome graphics. Very fluid and makes for a VERY VERY Fast MAC PRO Quad!
Benchmarks beat MAC PRO Quad Core to death all for less than $750 as opposed to MAC's ridiculous $2499.00!
One 2.8GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon “Nehalem” processor
1TB
$2,499.00
How to build it:
