There's another one: Sebastien Loeb, five times WRC champion from 2004 to 2008!

Hey All,

Both probably equivalent to or easier accomplishments than JJ's 3 in a row.

Fields half the size, half the races and a much lesser number of truly competitive cars that can win on any given weekend because of greater disparity between top cars and also rans. Still pretty dang amazing accomplishments though. That kind of consistency is not easy. BTW who has as many races wins in F1 or WRC or any other major racing series as Richard Petty or even number 2 David Pearson?

Considering that NASCAR drivers have many more races per season than any other major racing series, the answer is obvious...

That being said, Michael Schumacher in a 17 race season had 11 wins, 5 second places finishes, and 1 third place finish

In a 16 race season, Sebastien Loeb won 10 races, had 2 seconds, and 1 third place season...
