SUBSTITUTING AIRCRAFT

I know that this had been covered before, but I can't find the answer in my notes and I think the required part of my brain is :sleep: . I want to substitute the new TR F86 and AD planes, amongst others, into the KWCFS2 theater.
What exactly has to be re-titled in the airplane folder to have the planes show-up and be available in the game?

In my experience, this gets them working every time - your results may vary;

Everything in RED must match:

[fltsim.0]
title=Hurricane IIB <---- Should match the aircraft file name
sim=Hurricane IIB
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=
kb_checklists=Hurricane IIB_chk

Hurricane IIB.dp
Hurricane IIB.air
Hurricane IIB.mdl

And the info in the model.cfg file:

normal=Hurricane IIB

Also, the MDLNames.txt, descrip.dat, and QC_plane.qcb must have the names all match

Have I missed anything ?

Thanks for the reminder. They now work and am in the process of revamping my KW setup. Some recent serious real life emotional issues seem to have shocked my brain to non-process mode. Thanks again.

Brain freeze [or in my case, Brain Lock] happens to all of us - life just seems to get in the way of our hobbies !
