It took a while but I finally got the SF260 into FSX thanks to Rob at Realair sending me a new link and key. I downloaded and installed the official patch and actually it's surprisingly easy on fps and everything with the exception of the normal canopy/prop oddities seems to be "A" ok. . . .all except for this:

I have had that on several port overs. Some sort of texture issue.
Sadly never could figure it out.
I have noticed that on some models it only happens with the cockpit lighting
being turned on. If you can figure it out let me know.

Using the old fs9 version in FSX makes no sense at all as e.g. the flight model is different, textures are MUCH better etc.
The FSX upgrade is only 12 Euros.........

Actually, I knew someone would have that observation and for someone who is broke. . .it makes perfect sense, but thanks for posting:salute:.

I do remember the lights being a problem on a few other airplanes "gradyhappyg", it didn't knock out the entire gauge like this but it did mess with the backgrounds. . .but in this case. . .it was the lights. Actually any light, if switched on, knocked out all the gauges. So this is a daytime, VFR only airplane which is fine with me.

Thanks for the HU!!

Never seen the lights take out the entire set of gauges either new one on me.
Like you say it's usually just the background or surround.
Glad I could help at least that much.

Change background Color of the VC section in the panel.cfg to this:

[Vcockpit01]
Background_color=1,1,1

What it's that simple? I should smack myself I did everything from reformating the textures to removing and replacing them one by one to see which one it was and changing the light configs.
Thanks I'll give it a go.

Well gave the config changes a go and problem solved.
Again thanks a bunch!

Well, I was sure that was it also, but on the 260, that doesn't work.:frown:
