Liked the video a lot, but had to turn off the sound completely.....that "music" was not something I could handle...........

That's some really fancy flying! I'll bet it's harder than it looks... and it doesn't look all that easy to begin with. ;)

I thought the music was fine, by the way.

Quentin, that is very impressive work you did both flying and making the video. A couple of you guys from France seem to have incredible talent at doing these videos! I like it! The love of flying is very obvious by the attention to detail and handling in the flight routine.

Again, great job! I hope to see more in the future.

Regards,

DFA

Cher Quentin, your talent both as a virtual pilot and video creator is extraordinaire. Where have you been hiding !? ( i suppose at Dailymotion... :) )

Flying knife edge for more than two seconds, i always believed that wasn't possible in FS... That Alpha Jet of yours must have a truly superb flightmodel !

I have greatly enjoyed watching all your vids. What you have created here is an exceptional portrait of the love for flying, even if it's 'only' virtual.

Merci beaucoup for sharing your talent and skill with us ! :applause::ernae::applause:

One question/suggestion if i may.... it is clear that you love flying jets and that you are extremely good at that too, but what about warbirds, Quentin, do you have any feeling for those vintage aircraft which have these spinning thingies in front of the fuselage or wings instead of blow pipes at the back ?....

I can't remember having ever seen a, say, Spitfire, Mustang or Corsair display team being put to its paces at a RW airshow. I can just imagine what it would be like if you'd hop into a couple of these virtual ones and take your camera with you....

You wouldn't have to worry much about the music to begin with, the beautiful concert of 4 or 6 Merlins, Wright's or P&W's would be the perfect background music score.

Hopefully you'd like to give it some thought, Quentin, it would be something exclusively to see and enjoy in our beautiful virtual flying world. It would be really special and it's more than clear that with your talent and skill you could pull it off ! Easily ! :d

Thanks again for sharing your amazing flying videos with us ! :salute:

Cordialement,
Jan

Rattler, what do you mean by: "Jimi has that team Looking Very Good." ?

fsafranek, thanks a lot for watching the other videos!:salute:

Javis....Javis....JAVIS!!!:jump:
No seriously I am really touched by your message, it's very nice!:ernae:
I weren't hiding, I also have an account on Youtube (http://www.youtube.com/user/QuentinLFFE), but the thing is that I can't upload all my videos on it (10 minutes maximum and problems with the music, as I experienced yesterday^^), so we're both right, I weren't hiding...but all my work is on Dailymotion!!!:jump:

For the Alphajet, it is REALLY hard to fly, compared to the f-18 in Acceleration...that's why it took me a lot more time to make my Patrouille de France solo videos!

"What you have created here is an exceptional portrait of the love for flying, even if it's 'only' virtual.":
THANK YOU!! That's exactly what I am trying to share, and you're right in saying that I love Aviation, it's more than a passion, it's a way of life (I am flying Cessna 152 and I'd like to become a fighter pilot...:jump:)!!!

I truly love warbirds, I remember having some fun with Spitfires on Combat Flight Simulator 3:jump:, but you know, I don't have a lot of time with the studies, and I have only a few "projects" (if I can Patrouille de France: Les Figures Part 3, Solo Display Alphajet, and maybe one or two videos for my team: http://pafvirtu.wifeo.com/)!

Once again, I don't know how to express what I really think and feel with my words, but THANK YOU!!!:salute::ernae:

Good for you ! I was actually wondering about that, also in light of your age. Best of luck following your dream, Quentin, you have already virtually made it come true. Maybe some day you'll be Number 1 Patrouille de France for real as well. TOP !! :)

Understand of course, only so much you can do. Atleast good to know you like the vintage birds as well. With FSX there are quite some extremely classy warbirds to choose from. Come with great soundsuites too !

Once again, I don't know how to express what I really think and feel with my words, but THANK YOU!!!:salute::ernae:

You're welcome, mon ami. It is just wonderful to see such talent appear literally out of the blue !

So you're a webmaster too ! There is no end to your talent, éh !? :)

Looking very good, Quentin, I'll be sure to keep an eye on it !

Thanks once again for sharing your talent extraordinaire ! :salute:

Hey guys!!

Thanks Jan, it's a pleasure to see your replies!:salute:

Regarding my website, is it comprehensible for you?:)

If you have some warbirds (or simulation) videos, I'd be glad to see it!!:salute:

Caz,

Thanks a lot for your message!
"I was mesmerized by the haunting music accompanying the Lotus L-39 video on your website": yes I LOVE this one ("The Count Of Tuscany"), Dream Theater is actually my favorite band, you can feel in their music all their influences (classical music for instance), but at the same time they have always followed their own path!
It's an amazing band, and as they say in one of their songs, when I am listenning to their music I'm "flying through both space and time, out of body, out of mind"!:jump:

Have a nice...hummm...I don't know with the time difference!!:d

Greetings,

Quentin.

That was very impressive to say the least. I know that would have taken me forever to get that right considering I do very well to keep one plane flying somewhat level.lol.

Very well done and thank you for sharing that with us!

July 19th, 2010, 11:39
You're right robcap, but there's also this passage: "The great ascent, to reach a higher state", even if it's more spiritual...:jump:

Thank you Headwind!
If you keep training for formation flight, you'll improve your flying skills, so stay motivated!:salute:

If you have questions about the video, the softwares I used, or about formation flying, don't hesitate!

Bye bye!

damn....!! Your WAy ahead of me in that regard too.. I've only ever used fs recordder for flight tests to check out various andgles and positions over the length of the fuselage.. Nice work.. inspirational enough that i pulled out the su30MKH/SU-35/s-37.. I THINK i know how i can make it work.. just gotta get some basics on it cleaned up..
