While I'm not really a fan of ports in FSX I'm really missing my old Nemeth birds. Anyone have them (in particular the Mi-17,Mi-24 or S-76) installed in FSX Acceleration. If so how compatible are they, or not as the case may be? :)

KD, I have no idea whether this is true or not, [your question] but I have one for you. Have they released their older models as freeware, like IRIS and Alphasim?

Just released a threat showing a Ka-26, I know the Mi-17 works, the S76 doesn't, the Mi-2 does I think, just the sikorski doesn't work because of texture issues, I know the rotors might have the "behind cloud problem" but the VC and systems should work for all of them! The Hind does work too mate I think its just getting them started for me is the problem, Russian birds = lots of switches lol!

S76 does work with no texture issues (DX9 wise), but getting it to full engine/rotor rpm power is a challenge without using slew mode.
