any one have any info on the AC used in the bay of pigs fiasco?there are pics in the flight journal,april 2007 issue....but i think they may be the onmark version?? who knows im just askin here...dave

It looks like the CIA funded "cuban liberation airforce" used gunnosed A-26B's with the gun turrets removed. This was the typical configuration of most A-26B's which were used post war by both the CIA for clandestine operations in south America/Asia and Africa , the French in Africa (in indochina the French used A-26B/C in stock USAF configuration with the turrets) and the Portugese in Africa. I'm hoping for gunnose A-26B without the turrets... a lot of interesting paint schemes and stories of "secret" A-26 operations post ww2.
