great find! .. but it was a bit eerie too. Almost like someone had been sneaking in and copying my slides. I probably have 2/3 of those particular aircraft and a bunch of others... now, if I can ever find the time to scan 3000 slides....

Very nice ... enjoyed the variety, the Howards's, Aero Commanders, and the D18S's too. :-) Several of those paint schemes have been done for the Howard and D18S,

I seem to recall reading there was a P-38 glazed nose that was converted to an executive aircraft. A very luxurious seat in the bombadier's compartment...that has to be a helluva ride.:jump: Perhaps our resident P-38 experts can confirm this.
