Here are some panel shots showing recent progress. I have the real avionics in and working (with a few bugs), and I spent this week getting all of the switches in the overhead console in and animated. Not shown here are the circuit breakers that I put in tonight...still a lot to do on those! :icon_lol:

Here are the circuit breakers...currently non-functional, and right now I am not planning to change that.

Robert,

I can understand and appreciate non-functional. But what "fun" it would bring to have breakers tripping at the most inopportune time...

And OT, I may have some scenery done in a few weeks, that looks similar to where you're at, but more current. I can fill you in down the road, if you'd like.

I would be the first to admit it would be fun to have popping breakers in sim, but it would not be so fun writing all the code to make it happen! This is a contract project that has a target price range, and as it is I think it will be a very good deal. There has to be a balance when it comes to features vs. price ;)

I'm curious about your scenery. That external pic was taken rolling into final at Gillespie Field (KSEE) in El Cajon, CA. I use the SoCal Megascenery V2. If you have something better for the area I'd be very interested in looking at it!

Hi N2056,

Will you be making the knobs on the avionics 3d instead of using 3d bitmaps? I dont like the way 3d bitmaps jump out at you!
Also are you planning on boosting the resolution of the avidyne displays - the do look a little low res.

The thing to remember about doing 3d stuff in the VC is that it is cast in stone, and cannot be changed by the end-user. If i did those knobs like you asked then later if you wanted to drop in something else the knobs would probably be in the wrong place! Since changing avionics is a fairly common desire it is best to leave those knobs as part of the gauge.

The displays are being done by someone else. Right now i have the original FS2004 Seneca ones installed. That part of the panel still has some work yet to be done.
