Does anyone have decent pics of the Intervalometers in the A-26 rear console?
The ones in the manual are unreadable.
Thanks for your efforts.

Thanks Cirrus. What I need is better definition of the attached here. Otherwise, we'll just do the best we can with this. Not a big concern as it is non-functional.

LOL No I haven't, but I can say that thudpilot has provided some of the most awesome and unexpected pictures during this project, and for that we should all be very appreciative. Actually, I believe he supplied the picture from which the above shot was taken. :)

.
The intervalometer pictured in post #3 is a later model used in the A-26A/B-26K Counter Invader.
This is the type that was originally used in the A-26B/C:

Yes, I noticed that from the manuals. The console is set up the same way too. I'll have to decide now which way to go with it. Thanks for this picture ... the best I have seen with detail of this unit. :applause:

It's an interval timer used in high speed photography. (had to look it up myself ;) )

Sorry, I missed the question. It is basically an interval timer for releasing a signal that through delays can be used to take pictures every nn seconds, or release ordinance every so many seconds or increments apart depending on the area to be covered.
In the A-26, you could stagger the release of each bomb/bomb group to give you a tight or spread out field of destruction. Useful if the target is one , two, three adjacent building versus a complete airfield.
