Hi All,

I am looking for someone that could make a gauge that will aim the rear gunner in CFS2.

It just needs to be a Crosshair that can be moved (within a certain area) and then feed the "pitch and bank angles" to the "gun0" and "barrel0" guid offsets in the aircrafts VAR_Table.

Sounds easy enough.:costumes:
I'm 99.9% certain it will work. Anybody willing to invest some time in this project?

Thanks,
B24Guy

How about seperate guns at different angles...? Could you assingn guns to seprate keys?

The problem is, as someone once said "We have a falure to communicate"

If that is ever solved, then one gauge could be used for all guns by telling it (the gauge) what gun to talk to.

And even if we were to get the guns to move their is no guarantee that the bullets will go where their are aimed.

Allways hope though. If the AI can do it why can't we?

.....Is it possible to have 9 guns assigned to 9 keys?

That would cover a good amount of area, and you probably dont need the bottom level...

Not sure if you can assingn 9 guns though...even 6 would give a decent range, youd be suprised!......

I know the wildcat guns can be done this way. I did this to the DP a couple years ago. One button for 4, the other for 2 guns, but I think it was the cannon button...

BUT some joysticks you can assign repeat, or different tasks....???
