If it's slow and simple, I'm in. The Katana was great in FS9, and it looks way better now. Marcel is definitely one talented dev!

Wow, that Sound pack that Sonic Solutions did was a little ahead of it's time, but I'm sure he knew this was happening. He has a In with these developers and is working on getting sound packs out before the models come. but this puppy looks like a beauty, I have done extensive photo work on this plane at the airport and been in and out of every part down at the factory in london here and it is one hell of a well made plane! I see trainee's bounce them off the runway all the time... I LITTERALLY MEAN BOUNCE.. I have video somewhere around the house. and they just keep on trucking!

Vitus (the Blériot guy) is doing something like a "Load/Save" module for it...might even be a complete load manager...or even more...

There's a short but neat video if you go a few pages in.

I think it's starting up the avionics or gyros. Look at how the attitude indicator behaves.... never seen that realism before!

Oh, here it is:

As I mentioned in the other topic that discusses this, the Sonic Solutions soundpack is TOTALLY inappropriate for the Katana - his soundset is for the Continental engine of the Eclipse variants, NOT the Rotax-engined Katana models... Apart from 4 cylinders and an opposed four configuration there is NO COMMONALITY between the two power units.

not only that, the real Conti-engined bird is considerably different from the Katana, so the reason that the Eclipse is announced as a follow-on model is because it will require mdl, animation, systems, sound AND flight dynamics changes. Only then will the Sonic Solutions sound be relevant, and even then I rather suspect that 4X will have their own custom sounds anyway.

Do you have proof to your assertion that SS were `aware` of this project and are involved in it? My `inside` information suggests nothing of the sort. Maybe your info is better than mine..?
