can somebody tell me what the difference is between the two sims in respect to the aircraft please? eg why will some work and others don't between the two? or are there specific aircraft for each sim (get what I mean ??)

Models built for FS2004 - planename.MDL - will fly in FS2004. Models built for CFS3 - planename.M3D - will fly in CFS3. The two are not interchangeable or compatible with each other.

Some aircraft are available for both sims, but that doesn't mean they're exactly the same model. In fact, the only model I can think of which is is Milton Shupe's Beech 18. Which aircraft are actually available for either sim is a result of Microsoft and subsequent other modellers' decisions.

Or is it all a gigantic conspiracy????? :isadizzy:

haha it could be a conspiracy ....
so there is no way of changing certain aircraft from one to the other :crybaby:
I saw that there was an f-16 and a Tornado that ran under CFS3 but so far all I've found are versions for FS2004. Anybody know where to get these from or are these payware as well?
