I know many have stated they'd like to see a tanker version of the A-26 and upon request Milton was kind enough to send me a gunless/turetless model. Just finished the paint and all that is left is the pilot, which I can either change the paint on or see if Milton could exchange the pilot model for one with a baseball cap perhaps. :d

Yes, JAVIS did provide a more modern pilot with a baseball cap ... I'll be happy to merge that into your project and I know JAVIS will be happy to see it too. :applause:

Thank you guys! It should really come together once that pilot is added!
Here, I couldn't resist...too much fun. :d
(Found the effect at Avsim-probably could use some .cfg modifying to change the location it comes down at off the airplane. Once I get it perfected I can put up the entry for use along with the effect which I can post a link to after the aircraft is released.)

Weren't some of these made into executive transports? I bet those are some cool paints.

Yes there was WH - perhaps a future release may have to be in the making! I have many resources providing photos of several post-war civilian A-26's that may provide some interest. The model used for this "water bomber" scheme is exact to some post-war civilian Invaders while others had the gunner's windows removed and new windows installed on the aft fuselage. Versions like these included the Marketeer, the Marksman, and the Monarch.

Thanks again!

I'll be the one looking forward this version! whereìs a gmax tutorial? :d

Oh yes, I'd love an exec A26.

I've already posted this pic in other thread, but for some reason it doesn't shows up anymore, so I am posting the url

http://library.avsim.net/sendfile.php?Location=AVSIM&Proto=file&ImageID=18449 File Description:
This package will put Lulu, of the Grumman Duck fame, onto the dash of your Grumman Goose. It also adds the music panel, also from the Duck, into your cockpit as well. Included are eight selections of oldies music appropriate for flying around the Carribean or South Pacific. Duck Gauges by Bill Morad. Switch gauges by Robert Clark. Lulu is the finishing touch for your island-hopper. It has been configured for use with the Grumman Goose instrument panel by Dorian Davis and J.L. Stubbs which can be downloaded from AVSIM.com, filename: goose_panel.zip It can be used with other panels but it will most likely require that you have some basic knowledge in reconfiguring your panel.cfg file. Enjoy! Heather

I was thinking RL Clark's Radio/CD gauge. I use it in most of my panel mods and refer to it as the 8-track.

I'd asked around a couple of time about a hula dancer gauge.

Hey guys,

will you be doing the FDE without the drag of the turrents and cannons for this model?

whitehawk_2009
March 23rd, 2007, 14:48
I really doubt you would gain more than a few knots drag-wise, but if the guns are payload, like on Gnoopy's P-47, then you might pick up some speed.

WH

shackleton_boy

exactly - the turrents and nose guns adds alot of weight... thats why i am asking

See what this does for ya
gaugexx=ROSTOYS!Hula,x,x,70,91

This setting works well in thw A26
