Sorry but the memory is not the best anymore, I trying to remember of the Geman author about Night Fighters. I suspect that he's now dead. What was the name of his book?

Gebhard Aders, "Die Geschichte der Nachtjagd" maybe? Don't know the English title, if there is one, but that's pretty much the standard read on the German nightfighter force.

Can you narrow it down a bit more Helldiver. Can you remember what type th echap flew? Was it a pilots story or a reference book about night fighters?

Other than that, we have discussed Peter Spoden's memories a while ago.

It may be Peter Spoden. It had many illustrations of a fried of mine Rudi Thun. Who ever he is in spite of a number of messages to him he has never returned them. So I figured he died.

Now I remember, it was "Enemy In The Dark" by Peter Spoden. That's the one I was looking for.
You still says he posts on your forum. I would dearly like hear from him.
Thanks Mathias for all your help.

Just checked, Mr Spoden hasn't posted there in a while, but that is definitely the place to get in touch with him.
