Fifth-grader raises $70K to help birds in Gulf oil spill

A fifth-grader from Long Island, N.Y., Olivia has raised more than $70,000 for the National Audubon Society (http://content.usatoday.com/topics/topic/National+Audubon+Society)— a non-profit dedicated to bird conservation — by drawing pictures of birds and sending them to people in the USA and abroad in return for a donation.
