Looks great!

Is it just looking that way, or was the ship pulled out of the hangar by that vehicle? That would be nice!

Jim ...... That is great.

But Whatz-a-canyon turn? :salute:

a canyon turn is like a wing-over, used if you cannot climb above a ridge line and meet a dead end... involves the pilot pitching up, banking up to 90 degrees, rudder with the turn i.e turn left, rudder left allows you to turn 180 degrees in a very short space of time... and in very little room, will fire up the extra and demonstrate :salute:

edit: Here we go (Spot where i relaxed some control :icon_lol:)-

I saw something online, blacked out, and now my jaw is gone, evidently flew off and hit the floor... there are eyebrow hairs all over the desk, and my keyboard is acting wierd, evidently from drueling on it...

arrgh...

Where is that jaw? (checks under the desk)

It's not "I" it's WE. I just did the dirt work, Hangar One, and the Helium Tank. John Stinstrom did the balance of the base as back when we did it, FSDS had transparency problems and GMAX didn't. John uses FSDS . Others involved did the model, .air file, etc. And this stuff is not all that's been done.

That appears unlikely, although I'm not really privy to any of this.:salute:

Now that - is magnificent. A whole new dimension of naval aviation. Is that the great Put Put's (Mr. Clawson)'s FSX F9C-2? I've always been curious about hooking aboard an airship - would love to try that, but I am not aware of that being possible in FS9, but in FSX, many things look possible ...

Looking great!

Schweeeeet!

If you can get the Sparrowhawk to work, perhaps someone would come up with an XF-85 Goblin too? Even though it's not historically accurate, it would be cool.

seems to me I remember an old thread on this board from last year about the possibility and utter coolness of hooking Sparrowhawks onto the Macon...

seems to be coming about nicely...maybe ?

If this project continues and they figure this out on how to get them hooked up, this discovery can open a new door for great developments in the future as far as doing in flight refueling. Heres to hope...

Does anybody know what made Jim this angry? Or is this the wrong question?

How come hardly anybody wants to support such a great project?

June 24th, 2010, 14:58
Personally I feel that since Jim expressed a desire to not be asked about any of his scenery work, and early replies to this thread gave me the impression that this was part of a larger project involving scenery. As such I felt it was in keeping with his wishes to let it be for now.
