I just registered and need to make the obligatory posting and I can't think of a better place to post than right here. I think the A-26 has been a bit of an overlooked warbird. When people think of a twin engined medium bomber, they think of the B-25, perhaps some will remember the B-26, but few think seem to think about the A-26 even though it served the U.S. in three wars. Anyway, here is my post and I look forward to reading every post in this special interest forum.

Howdy,
Many members of SOH share those same thoughts and you should look at the following thread
to get a better idea just how this project really got started in the first place.

Hello from OZ.
This is also my compulsory post as per rules for newbies. Why here? Milton Shupe's team are about to launch what I believe will be another milestone freeware aircraft so, thanks again chaps. Its the generosity of you guys like you that keeps our hobby so affordable and enjoyable. When I saw the very first Flightsim and utterly failed in trying to land the "Cessna" in terrain of sticks and blotches I never dreamed of seeing FS9 and similar sims. I guess I've been a flightsimmer almost as long as anyone has but in reality only seriously since 2000. An hour in the RAN's SH 60 Seahawk simulator at Nowra Navy Base reawakened the urge and now I'm hooked. (Now that's a good sim!! Even I could have one for only fifty million plus maintence.) Oh, anybody seen any spare VC's for the Dash 7 lying about anywhere? Sure its a blatant hint but I'll be more than satisfied with another outstanding AC in the excellent A26 that Milton and his team are about to launch. Thanks so much guys.
