Has anyone heard from Robert lately? I do hope he is doing well.

Anyhow, a while back, there was a request for Robert's Brisfit for FS2004. AvSim has the four-part download for his FSX Brisfit, but it seems no one else has the four-part download for FS2004. Well, I found my four-part zip on a CD and uploaded the zip files to MegaUpload.

if any of you folks would still like to get Robert's Brisfit for FS2004, here are the links to download them at MegaUpload:

Alas Caz, I fear all is not at all well with Robert.
His last web-blog @ 2008 said he was battling a Sarcoma;
since then there has been no updates

A big 10-4 there OleBoy, those are the files I uploaded. Wolfgang Brown searched the web for the FS2004 files and sent me an email seeing if I had them, I did. I vaguely remember someone posting here about where they could be found since the AvSim crash.

Sorry to here of Robert's condition and not good that the blog has not been updated since 12-08. Prayers going out.

Claudius, the FSX version is still available at AvAim, but the FS2004 version seems to have disappeared. If you have the files OleBoy listed, you already have the FS2004 files.

Alright. I wanted to be sure Robert did not do a different one than the one I had.
...It's a super great model.

Robert, another prayer on the way...

Yes I was not aware about the disparition of the FS2004 version on Avsim.
I don't care of FSX planes and repaints as I don't own FSX :)
Seem's bad and sad indeed that's no blog update ... who know ....

I was thinking of asking Gary Jones to see if he could work his magic on a good RR Falcon sound file - and putting the whole package up at the Pond for all who wish it -- I will attempt to email Robert and ask for permission - but I think it would be a service to him and all those who love to fly this beautiful model.

I think Gary could do the Bristol some justice with his touch. I would be happy to have another of his packs. As for Roberts work, I feel that would be a good way to preserve his work. If it weren't for Cazzie sharing the files he had in his possession, Roberts Bristol was off the radar all together for the average searcher.

Good Luck at making contact with Mr. Bruce. I hope it works out. It would also be nice if he gave the OK to upload it to other places.

Cheers for that

Gary just emailed me and said he would have a bash at the Falcon.......I also thought it might be worth asking Lars if he feels like doing a 2D cockpit for it - for those of us who prefer flying that way....he is currently doing a really nice cockpit for the Alphasim Valiant -- while we wait for
the modeling gents to release their latest Austers, and other things --- There are several really nice models in the pipe - one of which will be totally new to those lovers of British aviation one the other two are aircraft that have been done before but NEVER in the detail coming.

Hi guys,

Is there any chance that this add-on could be uploaded to SOH?

Both the FS9 and FSX versions are available on simviation; look under vintage aircraft in their respective sections.

As promised Gary Jones has just published a sound set of the Rolls Royce Falcon at www.classicbritishfiles.com

Its another thing of beauty - and works ratehr well with the Vickers Viking as well :)
