Hey all

Thought I'd jump in here and let you know that the fine folks over at Alphasim have reworked their freeware page...and one download has a TON of CFS1 freeware stuff.

Click the link below, go to the Scenery section...all the way at the bottom...the one that says "Really Old Freeware from 800 BC"...something along those lines. There are a few CFS1 packages mixed in among the other pages as well.

The way Alphasim did it this time is they left the panels and gauges as part of the package...no more having to hunt up a suitable panel and gauges. Heck, some even have sounds.

Many thanks Obio:ernae:

I will certainly go and have a look. Some of the best models I have come from Alphasim. Their "Wimpy" is still in my stable, along with the A-10 "Warthog"...:jump:

P.S. - OOOPs... This is a hefty one; 109.75 MB!!! I will wait on that one. For those with a fast connexion, here is the direct link; HERE. (http://www.easyfly.co.nz/Freeware/Scenery/x_AlphaSim_really_old_freeware.zip)

many thanks OBIO,
I considered posting yesterday,
but thought I would checkout the "big one" first.
the Wellington is in there,
but, the majority are jets
and most are for CFS2/FS2000 only.
to be honest, I did not check on the CFS compatibility
for the jets, as I am mostly interested in WWII props
and the occasional Me-262.
which, BTW, there are several variants.

many thanks also to AlphaSim
for making these golden oldies available, again.
