That is crazy awesome! Definitely using a serious macro lens though. No 1x magnification there. Either using a ton of extension tubes or more likely a macro lens like this: http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Canon-MP-E-65mm-1-5x-Macro-Lens-Review.aspx
