Since the fuselage is basically the same, can your repaints be interchanged between standard, classic etc models?

Some do interchange successfully from one type to another - but others will have small bits that will not be textured. I cant remember now which dont swap without an extra bit of spraying

Can i offer a simple tip for finding difficult bits - i creat a layer using 4 blocks of colour not used in the repaint. By starting to use it covering the whole psd you can spot which colour zone the bit is in - then shrink it into that area to zero in on it.

Hope that helps until i can remember or check as to where #2 is!!

I got it also. I still would like to find the Boot covers. I have placed that Color map as a layer on almost all textures and it didn't show up. Even the wheels .... thought for sure it would be there.
I'll give a reward of $10,000 for the plate and location of that texture.

If you have not been able to colour it at all then i think it may not be paintable - i now recall something about that on another thread.

If Mike is reading he may confirm or prove me wrong.

The shock absorber covers are not paintable, as they usually are just left bare metal. The intake ball is only paintable on some models.

Not that i know of, it started it life up in alaska in the army and the man that owns it now keeps it in NH, and has just had it restored and back flying, sense an accident in 1989.

I'd like a repaint done similar to this but for Denali Air Charters in both clean and dirty/worn if someone wants to take this on...I'd like it on the Extreme 2. I have a logo for the tail included. Reg is N4409-AK in block outlined characters like this navy with light gray outline same spot. top center of bonnet is semi gloss black for glare, but surrounding is navy like this. Stripes do not have to be exact...be creative given the theme of the airplane. wing support struts are polished aluminum. On the worn dirty version, there will be paint pitting leading edge of the cowl, some off color patching, fading-the usual and there is always mud on the support struts and under the wing as well as elevator from the big tundra tires...
