Thanks for the heads up Fani. Hope they'll convert to CFS 2.

Last week, in a research of gliders for CFS2, and looking for a towing plane for Baldy´s Me-321 , I´ve downloaded Mr. Katzunori Ito´s He-111 Z.

In the readme file of Mr. Ito´s it it strictly forbbiden to convert and use this beatifully made plane in CFS2. He like´s planes but not wars, even in the simm world. He has all the right to do so:

"5. [ About free software ]
All aircraft that I made are free software.
The reprint and the repaint may go freely.
However, please defend the following conditions.
1.The change in contents of this file is prohibited.
(Please distribute it like the Zip file of the current state when distributing it. )
2.Please neither reverse-assembly nor never remodel(convert) it of the aircraft model.
and don't covert my airframe for CFS Series..."

"Please Notice
I like military aircrafts. Especially, fighter!!
But, It is because the shape is unique and the manoeuverability is good.
I like aircraft that can freely fly in the big sky.
However............I hate war and combatting.
When I thinks the airframe that I made launches the bullet and the missile, I become scary.
Therefore, I'm prohibiting convert of my airframe for CFS.
If it is possible, I am wishing my airframe not to be used in CFS.
Though you might be said "Because it's simulation world"..........
Please..........Please......."

So, unfortunatelly for us, we still have no He-111 Z for CFS2.

But we can still use 3 GC BF-110G to do this. It´s already in Baldy´s dp, although I haven´t given it a try yet.:kilroy:

The Me-323 linked in this thread by Fany is also by Mr. Kazunory Ito (Sorry, I´ve misspelled it before).

The same limitation applies: No convertion to CFS2 allowed.

BUT: Baldy made a Me-323 Giant for CFS2:
Me323_Gigant.zip http://www.sim-outhouse.com/downloads/download.php?lloc=downloads&FileID=8342
Gigant_update.zip http://www.sim-outhouse.com/downloads/download.php?lloc=downloads&FileID=9056
ME323_Low_res.zip

A new skin would be nice for it. It lacks a panel.

Cheers, Discus

I must have had a lapse in memory. That has been, unfortunately, Ito's policy as long as I can remember.

The link for the low-res by oldwheat is this:

ME323_low_res.zip (http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/page.php?lloc=downloads&loc=downloads&page=info&FileID=9086)

A revised model file for Baldy's Messerschmidt-323 which adds a simple distance LOD model to lower the frame rates... Merely paste the contents of this folder into the original Me 323 folder...
Have fun,
Oldwheat
